I adore the Dragon Age games, so when I was planning a trip to ToruCon in Norway, my friends and I decided to do a group cosplay. I wanted to chose something simple and ended up making Garrett Hawke’s finery from Dragon Age II.

The cosplay consists of a muscle suit worn under a black velvet collar and a red tunic in faux thai silk. I hand painted crest on the back. The linen trousers were repurposed from my Aragorn costume. The belt is the same velvet as the collar and the unique buckle was made from EVA foam and worbla.

The beard is hand-laid crepe wool and the entire makeup for this character takes about 2-2,5 hours. It’s definitely one of my most transformative cosplays.
