Alucard was a costume that didn’t see the light of day until two years after completion due to the pandemic. Castlevania even finished in the meantime. But a long wait is simply more time to plan a photoshoot. You can even read about all the steps I usually take to prepare myself here.

For this cosplay I made the coat, white shirt, velvet trousers, gloves and belts from scratch. I customized a pair of boots with the same fabric I had used for the lining of the coat and glove details. I also made fabric covered buttons to ensure everything matched. The wig was put together from two cheap blonde wigs: I cut all wefts out of one and attached them onto the other cap with my sewing machine. The harsh animated style hairline was created with the excess hair and fabric glue.
